Nusa Penida is one of the best places in Bali for diving. One of the favourite dive sites, there is Manta point where we can have a close encounter with Maanta Ray.
Manta dive Bali is located in the south of Nusa Penida, which can be reached by a fast boat within 50 minutes ride. Dive site here has no current but mostly has a strong surge and quite challenging to start the dive and swimming in the shallow part.
For your best chance of seeing mantas you should try to depart as early as possible and in the water early in the morning to beat the crowds. During high season (December-January and June-August) sites like Manta Point can get really crowded with divers and snorkellers.
