Scuba diving in Bali is exceptional for several reasons.
Firstly, Bali boasts plenty of diverse marine life and varies of underwater topography, such as a wall dive, volcanic black sandy bottom in Tulamben, shore diving, drift diving and many more. The waters visibility is mostly clear and home to coral reefs, tropical fish, and manta rays. Bali Diving is all year round.
Secondly, diving in Bali offers warm water temperatures all year round. Except in Nusa Penida, the water temperature will be colder from July to October. Additionally, Bali offers a wide range of dive sites suitable for beginner divers to all levels. Non-certified or beginner level can try easy dive spots such as Tulamben, Padangbai, Amed and Nusa Penida. Advanced or Experienced divers can dive in Candidasa – The Gili Tepekong and Gili Mimpang, and Nusa Penida.

There are several popular dive sites in Bali. These locations offer diverse marine life and stunning underwater landscapes and topography. One such location is the Crystal Bay. It is known for its vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish species, wall dives with the famous Mola Mola during the season on July – October.
Diving in Nusa Penida during July – October, mostly Mola Mola can be spotted in Crystal Bay. Another popular dive site in Bali is the Manta Diving in Nusa Penida, famous for its gentle giant Manta rays which can be spotted almost on every dive, it is the home for The Manta Ray in Bali. Additionally, divers often visit the USAT Liberty Shipwreck at Tulamben, where they can explore the historical sunken ships – It has been there since 1962 and the coral growth varies from hard to soft and becomes home to the fishes, turtles, etc you will encounter a variety of marine creatures too and they are familiar to the divers, very easy to be approached!
We got lucky enough to Diving in Bali life of underwater, we got hundreds of different kinds of coral species, colorful tropical reef fishes, and schooling of fishes such as barracuda, tuna, silver fishes. When you are lucky, you get the chance to see the sharks too in some dive sites such as Nusa Penida and Candidasa, while diving with sharks in Bali is not common, as they don’t like to be interrupted by divers. Even for Underwater Photography lovers, there is a Macro heaven in East Bali, where you can spot tiny nudibranchs, crustaceans, etc. The most favorite sea creatures to be spotted in Bali are The Manta Ray in Manta Point Nusa Penida, and Oceanic Sunfish or Mola Mola in Crystal Bay Nusa Penida during the season of July to October.

The answer is all year round. The best season to dive in Bali depends on the weather and water conditions. While we can’t predict the season nowadays related to global warming.
Generally, the rainy season starts from November to March, the dry season in Bali, which runs from April to October, is considered the best time for diving in Bali. During this time, the weather is sunny and dry, with calmer seas and good visibility underwater. The water temperature is also warmer, ranging from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, making it more comfortable for all levels of divers. However, it’s important to note as there are several dive sites suitable for different seasons.
Yes, of course! You can join our program of TRY SCUBA DIVING in BALI. Try scuba is NOT a course or certification program, which means you will not get a diving license. In this program you will be conducted by qualified instructor or dive leader. Our instructor will give you a basic briefing, skills practice, about how to scuba dive. Maximum depth is only 12 meters max and all the way navigating by our dive leader. With a small ratio of maximum 2:1 divers to instructors. Once you try the introduction to scuba dive you can decide whether you want to continue to the open water certification.

Sure, you can dive with your contact lenses on while you are diving and using a normal scuba mask which included in the package price. Or, you can add a rental for a prescription scuba mask. Let us know when you make a resercation.
The minimum age for scuba diving in Bali is 10 years old in the Open Water. And 8 Years old for a Try Scuba Kids in the pool only. While there is no maximum age limit. This means that as long as you are at least 10 years old, you can participate in scuba diving in Bali. However, it is important to note that scuba diving can be physically demanding, so it is recommended that participants be in good physical health and have a reasonable level of fitness. Additionally, it is essential to complete a medical questionnaire and obtain proper certification before engaging in scuba diving to ensure the safety of all participants.

To maximize your diving experience in Bali, it is important to choose the right location to stay. By selecting a central area, you will have easy access to most of the Bali Dive Sites. Some popular areas for divers include Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu.
We offer free pick up and drop off if you are staying in Sanur, Kuta, or Seminyak areas. If you are staying in Nusa Dua, Jimbaran and Canggu, or Ubud, there will be a fuel surcharge, please contact us for more info.
We are a Dive center in Sanur, providing a full day services of Diving Trip on a day trip basis. Our pick-up time is starting at 6.30 am – 7 am depending on the location you are staying. Our fun diving day trip and snorkeling trip covered Tulamben, Amed, Padangbai, Candidasa, and Nusa Penida. Return to Denpasar or Sanur approximately at 4 – 6 pm. Let’s say you will arrive at your accommodation mostly around 5 pm – 6.30 pm. The estimated time depends on the location you are leaving from the dive site areas.
If you are traveling with family or non-divers, it is possible for them to tag along with you. They can choose a Try scuba diving in Bali program or even snorkeling in Bali program. Or may be just chillin’ in the beach or in the restaurant by the beach. This way, everyone can still have a great time together, even if they are not interested in diving. So, don’t worry, your family or non-diving companions can definitely come along and make the most of the experience. Let us know and will let you know the details for the surcharge.
Yes, sure. You can join or tagging along with our existing schedule on daily basis. Or, you can opt for a additional private trip if you want to have maximum experience. For the Open water diver course in Bali and Advanced Diving Course it is possible to enroll if you are a single diver.

Yes, you can start scuba diving or enroll in the open water course in Bali. During the course, we will teach all the necessary skills, and all the required training, and equipment to help you dive safely and confidently.
No, you can’t.
Make sure about No FLIGHT TIME/ INTERVAL between your last dive and your flight time with a minimum of 18 – 24 hours interval. This is apply if you plan to hike or going to high altitude too. Most of the scuba diving session will be finished around 2 – 3 pm.

SSI Open Water Diver Course is a comprehensive scuba diving certification program.
